15 September 2026 · Balance & client update

Progress worth keeping.

Our first balance pass focuses on permanent earned power, useful daily rewards and equipment upgrades that respect your progress.

Update before playing: close the game, reopen the normal MorgarMU Launcher and let Check Files finish. Use the normal launcher to receive these changes.

The server rules

2× monster EXP · 2× monster Soul EXP · 1× drops. Quest rewards remain unchanged. Costumes retain their stats, with equal permanent power available through play for all six classes.

What changed

  • Permanent free costume and wings: new starter rewards and a one-time Guide claim for existing characters.
  • Direct appearance purchases: MToken buys looks and equivalent-speed mounts. New MToken-to-Redzen exchanges and Platinum sales have been removed. Existing balances, purchases and owned items are retained.
  • Clearer shop offers: incomplete class costume boxes have been removed from sale. Nature Wings is explicitly labeled as a 30-day appearance.
  • Earned currency: three level-70 daily activities each award 100 bound Redzen, up to 300 per character per day. Already assigned lists change on the next daily reset.
  • Safer enhancement: failure keeps your equipment and its enhancement level. Attempt costs and success chances remain, with corrected client previews for talisman tiers.
  • Training that supports progression: Linda's extreme EXP and artifact shortcuts become materials. Previously claimed rewards, currency grants and returning catch-up gear are preserved.

Client improvements

WASD movement and Legend Shop loading fixes are included in the normal launcher updates. The frame limits are configurable and default to unlimited during play and 30 FPS in the background. Guide rewards and returning-player categories now match the server; Tephakin's Light no longer previews a pet it does not award.

Playing with a small group

Use Enter (Space) at ordinary dungeon entrances for direct or solo entry. Auto Party Matching is a separate five-player queue. Existing solo scaling, entry requirements and daily limits remain in place.

What comes next

Class matchups, late-game material income and encounter difficulty need playtesting over time. This update addresses the largest progression and shop problems; it does not claim every class or PvP matchup is fully balanced.

Read the progression guide or share feedback on Discord. Include your class, level, gear and the activity you were playing so we can investigate.
